Too bad I can not say that I got them from who I ordered them from....

So the Week after the tragedy at the MDR Race I wanted to show my support and thus ordered a sticker for myself and one for my GF at the time from Engage. When I ordered demand for the stickers was high and I expected to wait a little while for them.

About a month in I contacted Mike to see the status of these and he was very helpful. Told me it appeared my order had been filled so I waited a few more weeks but still nothing came. Contacted him again and he said he would get to the bottom of it and forwarded my PM to Hassim.

Well I never heard from Hassim and kinda forgot due to things going south with the GF and such. Finally I decided to PM Hassim and got a reply on 11/10 from him saying that He thought they had gone out but that he would get some out to me asap. And so I waited...

So I waited almost a month and got nothing so I PMed again, he told me to call him at the shop and so I did. During this call Iw as told by Hassim himself that he would personally drop them in the mail the next day. I thanked him for his time and effort and again waited.....

Fast forward another 3 weeks. Still Nothing. At this point we are in Mid January and it is pretty obvious that not once has an attempt been made to mail me my stickers. I email Hassim again and he tells me that "The Guy" doing the stickers has gone awol and that he is having them cut by somebody else and it will be 2 weeks out. I again agree to wait and thank him.

A little over 2 more weeks go by and I politly send an email just asking the status of the situation. The email I got in return was very unprofessional. Hassim told me "I sent you an email last monday along with couple other people" (He didnt) and then said he had a few in Pink that I could come Pick up at the shop (im down in San Diego) if I wanted them. I was told that If I wanted to wait until the next Friday (last Friday) they would ship and that "if u need me to mail this will be the last time I mail to anyone as this has been a head ache".

The final comment kinda surprised me because I am pretty damn sure that an attempt was never made to even send them. I gave my Business address and home address. I was told they were shipped on 2+ occassions, I doubt somebody at USPS likes stickers that much...

So anyways the same day that Hassim was supposed to have shipped them (most recent time) my buddy did me a favor and called John at Trifecta. John said they had a few extra stickers so he went and picked them up (at no charge even) and dropped in the mail. What do ya know, I received them the next day yet here we are Tuesday (2 mail days later) and still none from Engage.

A lot of you may be saying "Its just stickers get over it" but really it is the principle. I run my own business and am also the manager of a large store in which we operate 2 of the biggest online stores in our industry, I know customer service. To me it seems that getting the run around from Engage says a lot about their ethics and makes me question other things such as rumors that the money wasnt even donated as it was supposed to be.

Just wanted to give a warning to those out there who want to listen. Al I can say is that I am happy I got my LT parts elsewhere (cause my rear still probably wouldnt be done) and wish I had gotten my stickers from a more reputable company such as Trifecta Offroad (who I will be using for future needs).

Also want to clear up that I am in no way holding Mike responsible for this stuff, I am sure that he did try to help me out as it is obvious that even after Hassim personally had spoken to me nothing happened.

Just a word to the wise.....

Thanks for taking the time to write this out. You really kept a cool head through all this. I was getting mad reading it. Sad how a company is given multiple chances to make things right but fail. Then giving you lip, "this is such a headache", because they are incompetent.

If they can't handle sending out a couple stickers. I will avoid the company completely.

Oh yeah forgot to mention that Mike had at one point told me that I was NOT the only one to have this issue. Anybody else never get theirs? Really interested in knowing if I was the only one to get jerked around or not.

    shitty deal CJ

i dont want to comment on engage or an occurance i was not involved in...

but, alot of the times these days it seems that the quality of customer service you will recieve goes hand in hand with how much money you are spending at that particular business, and that is plain wrong.

i'm not saying that is how engage operates, not in the least. that is just an observation of mine that i have come to in my dealings with other companies over the last few months... but there still are some good customer service companies out there... they are just hard to find.

I've heard things about skimping on projects.. So i dont think it matters how much you spend.

if you can't handle what 20 bucks in stickers? how can you handle multi thousand dollar builds

I agree with ya matt. If I call some company to ask a question about their product and they act like jerks or just want to hurry up and get me off the phone then they will not get my business in the future. Just cuz I may be buying something that's $5 now doesn't mean I won't spend $5k later.

I remember when I was interested in a Tacoma. Went to the dealer, was standing right in the middle of the lot. Looking at some trucks and waiting for someone to come up. I could see salesmen looking at me drinking coffee. As I gave up I walked away. Just before I get to my truck someone comes up to me and asks what I'm interested in. I said I was going to buy a Tacoma, but you guys left me hanging so I will take my money elsewhere. Haha

Im not here to start any more crap. It could be any business. I will not purchase from SDHQ. Bad business experience makes me not want to go back. Kinda goes in line with what CJ dealt with. It doesn't matter the size of the purchase. Its a matter that a company screwed up and did nothing to make it right other then give him a run around. Then to say stuff in an email that is not 100% is not cool as well. My parents are business people and they would not be in business if they were giving there customers a run around or a bad product. My mom has been self employeed for 26yrs now. All the competing businesses around her are gone do to bad business and the economy. All it takes is a few people unhappy for shit to go sour.

the money definitely went to the cause...

when we took the orders, we fronted the total amount of orders to Fast Aid before trying to collect... we then ordered the stickers, mailed them out, and went by the honor system to collect the money back...

needless to say, we only collected half the money back, but with the truck projects coming through, we just didn't have the resources to follow up on the money that we never got...

that whole sticker venture was a learning curve... i don't think we will ever get into that again... at least i will be voting against it... haha...

Good to hear Mike. If Hassim still is actually having those stickers cut like he said I would love to have them as I had some issues when I applied mine and may need to replace. If not oh well.

the original batch of stickers we did ourselves... that only worked for that initial week... after that, Hassim decided to outsource... at that point, i was no longer heading out there to help out as my own business started picking up...

Oh ok, It may be just me. But if I had a plotter and someone keeps contacting me about stickers they didn't get. Even if u subcontracted out. Why not spend 10mins spit out 2 stickers to shut the person up? Makes you look good and the customer gets what they wanted. Then don't take anymore custom orders. Just the way i would look at it. Ya you cant make every customer happy and they may not return but you did everything you could do.

hey CJ i saw your conversation with Chris on facebook...

i offered you a refund out of my personal pocket, but you declined, but you guys are "joking" about whether or not you will see stickers still...

my offer to refund your money still stands, or if you would still like the stickers, i am officially offering to buy them for you and mail them to you myself...

please let me know so we can finally close this matter and give Chris something to shut up about...

I'm not the one that starts the conversations. For all I care, people can keep bitching about not getting stickers. I was not involved and was not affected by this. Not my fault I think its funny at the same time as a shitty situation for everyone involved. If you guys can work out a deal great. I would like to see you guys shut me up and resolve the situation.

I already posted how I feel the situation should have been handled. Maybe you guys feel differently I don't know.

Chris a lot of ur posts in regards to Engage are negative yet u always cruise up into the Engage camp and act like u r cool with Jerry and Hassim to their faces. You are either two faced or an idiot.

For the record I met with Johnny at Trifecta and bought Tri's stickers.

As I previously mentioned I want to personally set things right with CJ.

Its unfortunate that every chance you get CHRIS, you try to knock Engage and Hassim.

I'm not even on his payroll and it has annoyed the shit out of me how two faced and back stabbing you have become over the years.

    I'm DONE with you Chris.

And stop talkin shit about TW on facebook when you come here to spread your negativity.
