I have a 2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road that when I left home today I noticed a spot on my garage floor. Checked all the fluids and they look to be at the required levels. Wiped up the spot and ran an errand. Came back and looked under the truck and there is what I’m guessing to be power steering fluid that has a drip coming from the lower control arm. I didn’t dig into it too much as I already have an appointment to bring it in. Just hope it’s something simple and didn’t get on the belt and all the other areas you don’t want any fluids on.

What side of the truck? Could it have possibly been from the ac drain and just been water?

No it’s not water. This is not clear. Guessing it’s power steering fluid. This is the 1st vehicle I’ve had in a long time that is not electric power steering. That is the only think I can think of. But it’s going in on Friday and it’s under warranty.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
PS fluid or oil from the timing cover.

But you should easily distinguish those by look and feel.

Dip a white paper towel in the drip for a color sample, the use the engine and PS dip sticks next to those for comparison

I think our power steering fluid is mostly clear. It's atf with no dye in it. If it's truly leaking something I'd guess oil from the timing cover.

Sounds like a common problem with Bue Crush Metallic.

That’s the plan! Have an appointment for it to go in on Thursday. 1st Toyota I’ve had that has had any issues before 10k miles. I’ve owned 14 Toyotas. So this isn’t a huge deal hopefully.
