I used paper. I bought a roll of the make your gasket and cut it to the size I needed. I believe I have a ton of what’s left. I can send it to you if you want.

 

It wouldn't be so bad if my intercooler lid seal was not leaking.

I think there are direct flights from CHI->DEN. I have a spare room ready for you.

 

RTV silicone and zip ties fixes everything on cars.

What are we looking at here Robert? I see these guys have been having the same issue we were with the Vette fan when attempting to run the AC, but I saw nothing which fixed it per se. We would need a PCM compatible with an electric fan to be able to run use signal communications.

I'm not going to lie, that made me laugh out loud. It's hard to do that these days. Lol.

 

you fellas in the warmest climates are going to be the final fix for radiator/fan control on these trucks. i will read and learn....(sometimes).
maybe even copy a good design.

 

Yeah, I mean the problem is that the tech is new apparently and all these other fans were using brushes on their motors. The fact that the Corvette fan is brushless DC and on top of that is SPAL only complicates the setup and makes for a hard time in making/ finding an aftermarket workaround that circumvents the need for digital input like a PCM.

I've been angry about the lack of AC input for a long time now, and I refuse to use to trigger which makes it run at full duty because that's a ton of juice and I don't feel like running a jet engine under there.

We'll figure it out. Eventually.

It took me FOREVER to get my engine bay clean after I stopped offroading. I pulled off my alternator recently to replace it for a 250 amp unit... The thing looked disgusting.

 

Hey @Torspd get a hold of Dwayne if you could be so kind and ask him what the deal was with that PWM module from PAC.

I want to try and rectify this lack of AC trigger thing on the Lingenfelter fan controller but need some more clarification on what that module will do for me if anything at all.

You're in good company, brother! I can't keep up with you're level of clean, but...

 

are you noticing a miss fire at cold start? Would last only for a few seconds until what ever cyl. reaches a hot enough temp to seal the gasket through heat/expansion. I bet mode 6 miss fire data may reveal something
