My grandfather had one. I loved hearing it run, so smooth. I hoped it would be mine one day, but my uncle got it and I have no clue what happened to it. He never helped my grandfather farm, softball always came first.

Industrial engines like tractors, forklifts, pumps, etc always sound so satisfying calmly idling away or purring at their governed rpm usually around 1800.

I start my International 140 up and let it run just off idle for a half hour just to listen to it run while I sit in my rocker and doze facing the Western sun -- tranquility. :)

Have you got a chair for me or should I bring my own?

I have a spare chair and a tea kettle, you could bring a few gallons of non-ethanol gas if you like.

My old forklift has a Continental flathead four, it sounds quite nice but I don't let it run for too long as it fills the garage up with rolling clouds of blue smoke.

Son is on spring break, we went to the theater to see a movie at 2:35pm, we were the only ones there. Does anyone else ever go to the theater any more? I do realize it was at 2:30pm on a Tuesday, but 20 years ago it would have been at least half full.

Tickets for 3 were $20.19, 3 small popcorns and 3 small drinks were $35. The prices are the reason I stopped going years ago, but that cherry slushie I got today was good, and it had free refills!

I use to go to mid week early shows in the late 90s early 00s usually not more than a dozen people and this is when I lived in Los Angeles
then I took the job at USC's film school and had to QC so many student films that its hard for me to watch any thing to this day

I spent $5,000 on my theater room so I wouldn't have to go to the theater. And now it's mostly used by my son to play on the XBox.

Someone he plays Call of Duty with asked everyone what they were playing on. He said a 163" screen with 7.3 surround and no one believed him.

Last time we went to the movies was when Frozen 2 came out. That’s also the day the toolbox fell off someone’s trailer and we tore the front of the suburban up, with just 9,000 miles

Go to givemethevin.com & see what they offer. They have a radio show every Saturday morning that is pretty funny & you can call in he will make an offer on the air. He is a local guy named John Clay Wolfe & says if he doesn't beat a Carmax offer he will send you $100.00. They have an office in Charlotte NC not sure how far that is from Booger Holler but they will pick up anywhere. He has been saying the prices have been coming down the last 6 months but he always offers more than local dealers & can even do a pass through to save sales tax if you are buying a new vehicle.

I paid $26k for my 1st house my son just paid $56k for a Z71.
My 20 TRD Offroad is the 1st new vehicle I ever bought, the only reason I bought it was I got a better price on it new than I could find a 2 yo used truck with 50k miles.
