I'm not sure I'm following what you're asking.

This is a play by play of what I did: I put both pulleys together (correctly obviously), mounted them on the crank and spun them until I felt the pulley set grip onto the cranks keyway, installed the bolt a few turns to ensure it was threaded on right then gave it hell with the impact with multiple ugga uggas until I stopped seeing any forward movement of the socket.

Remember bud, when in doubt, KISS. :)

PHew...Trying to read through all 75 pages here. Lots of talk on the crank pulley. Confirming; it is Righty tighty, lefty lossey, correct? And for the h2o pump pulley...do I need anything special to pull that off? That should fall right off once the shroud/fan is off, right? And lastly, do I bother w/ the alt pulley? Assuming thats reverse thread?

If you got it. I don’t recall but it was want too hard to get off. The bigger question is if you got the right one.

I think so? I got the one w/ the raised center section. The rest is correct as far as install, right?

Also for the water pump pulley, I was unable to get my nst pulley on with the stock crank/supercharger crank pulleys on. I tried a few weeks ago when I was swapping out my idler bearings so I decided to save it for another day.

Some alternators had a flat pulley, the majority had the raised center section. It depends on which one you got. The only way to know is to pull the pulley and look.

What? Aw Murph... o_O that's some newb crap there. Lol.

My truck is a TRD sport with the tow package and I had the stepped pulley.

Looking at the stock one it appeared 100% flat until I pulled the pulley off.

Don't feel bad. I save all the hard stuff for last if I can circumvent it.

Ok, I looked at the Alt pulley today. Maybe this is a dumb question, but having never taken this off before..... It looks like there's two bolts. Am I loosening and removing the larger or smaller of the two bolts?

Thanks! Can't believe I'm asking so many questions about an alternator pulley lol. Assuming that outer nut isn't seized to the shaft; What did you guys torque that back down to? I looked at the torque specs but I didn't see one for this pulley, just the tensioner pulleys. Should I do about the same, at 32 ft/lb ish? Or a couple ugga's.

Was chasing some noises in front of the car. Ended up checking the idlers and removing tensioners. Noise is still there but got the s/c pulley on. Seems like she scoots a little easier.

So NST is trying to tell me my truck uses the flat alternator pulley. I don't understand what the heck they are talking about. Clearly my oem pulley has the lip just like the one nst sent me.

    This is what they said

The pulley that we have sent you is the correct pulley for the standard
1GR alternator. The NST pulley is designed to be just a bit smaller
than the OEM pulley to provide slightly better charging at lower RPM.

The pulley you show in your photo looks to be one of the rare Two
Package pulleys, we've seen a few of these over the years and have a few
    of these pulleys available.

Anyone know what the heck they are talking about.

They are mistaking the rust on the original for the color of the table. It blends in.

I missed it upon first glance as well.
