I also just made the swap from 885’s to the 886’s. After i added the hybrid bumper, i was back at stock height with the 885’s.

I didn’t take measurements, but i def got a little more lift than i had before. Found this thread looking to see where peoples setup with 886’s settled at.
I think it’ll be perfect when it settles…

pretty sure I’ll end up ordering a set of UCA’s in the coming weeks. Been waiting for the excuse, and i think this is it. Lmao.

How do you like the ride? I'm actually was hoping you're truck was a 3rd gen that way I can compared if I was going to get 886 coils as well. I am currently on 887s and 5100. How high of a lift did you get?

886 with NitroChargers. Raised the front 2 1/4". Ride was fantastic, added a plate bumper and winch, still 2 1/4" and still a great ride. Stock OR is horribly floppy and vague. 2021 DCSB OR

3.25 on the right side and 2.75 on the left when I first installed it. It is most likely lower now. look up cv boot mod to save your cvs. super easy.

    I'd recommend ECGS bearing

That's some crazy measurements off by 0.50 inches. Did you use spacer on left side to level it off? And thanks alot for the cv boot mod idea. It's the first time I heard of this. Thank you.

It has to do with weight of the truck. The battery, gas tank and driver are on the right side. Look up taco lean

I know of taco lean but I notice alot of people mention usually 1/4 difference but half an inch different is alot in my opinion. And did you use spacer to even it out?

I don't use a spacer. I could but it's not noticeable. That was the measurement when I first installed it. Might be more even today. I am 200lb as well

Okay, obviously there are differences between the two gens. Having said that, my truck HATED the 886's. Had alignment issues and plenty of popping and creaking over the bumps and sharp inclines. Ride in retrospect was harsh. Just changed the entire setup and also the CV axles because of the crazy angles tore one of the inner boots. Not at all bashing OME. This was only my experience and a lesson learned for me. I have only a week with the BP-51 setup and can def say all the noises went away. These are grains of salt, like I said. A lot of people here run them with no issues, but I had many. Also, mine were paired with the 5100's. no bueno.

Congrats on your BP-51 I read on them as well. So when you had your 886 on the 5100 was it set at zero? I have a theory that the weight of 3rd gen will soften the 886 since it's heavier than 2nd gen. Were you bouncy everywhere because you didn't have enough weight?

Anyways thank you for your inputs.

Yes, the ride was stiff. And also yes, set at bottom clip. I have a hybrid bumper that i also theorized would be enough weight up front. After having them on my truck, I’m assuming they would be good for a vehicle that is running full plate with winch and extra battery, etc.

Everything, except the ones I haven't done yet ;)
For those that are running 886 coils on 5100s, what notch did you set it at? I would like to keep at least 2-2.5" of lift.

I just pulled the trigger on 886 coils and 5100s. I currently have sliders, roof rack and running 285s. Will add more goodies in the near future (steel skids, hybrid bumper and winch). I'm not afraid of it riding stiff, I'm currently running 3" spacers lol (I know, I know! Budget build!).

I have a 2019 doublecab long bed. I set mine at zero with a 1/4 spacer on both sides. After settling I net about 2.5 of lift. I'm sure if you set it on first notch after settling you will still have 2 inches.
