There's so much open desert I'm sure it wont be hard finding a spot. Even the road to HITW is wide open. there's also the wash. the people at HITW might get mad at me since I'm running nitro and it's loud.

I'm undecided on what tires I should get for my nitro Rustler. I'll most like be running my truck in hard to loose dirt, nothing too soft. Overall I'm just looking for a good all terrain tire. I like the looks of the Badlands tire but I think they may be for softer dirt.

    Any other suggestions?

the tread of the Badlands will work better in loose dirt and desert dirt, but the Switch's are supposed to be great on hard pack dirt and tracks...

i want to get the Switch or the Trencher...

Mike- those trenchers are nice. they look like they can handle mutiple terrains. maybe ill go with those if I can get my remote to work with my truck.

oh, if you have the original radio and receiver, you can trade them in to upgrade to the newer Traxxas 2.4ghz for like $62.50

hey Mike! I have a Slash also and was wondering what did you pay for that LiPo battery pack? does just upgrading the battery give you more power?

Sometimes I wish I went electric cause it's easier to work on but I also like having gas so I don't have to deal with the batteries.

James - I sent you a message on FB when you get a chance.
