Sometimes I get a chuckle from how Nissan likes to repurpose an engine design from a completely different vehicle into regular cars and trucks.

There is a world of difference between a GTR VR38DETT and the new Fronty VQ38DD. Conspicuously the bore and stroke are the same.

Cylinder Bore 95.5 mm and Piston Stroke 88.4 mm

I suspect we will see a TT version of the VQ38 appear in the Titan or a big Infiniti if not already there.

Same Nissan song and dance from the mid to late 1970s -- just in a different century. It's not bad. Very predictable.

Oh no, a lot.

Last posts were of the assembly drawing, where you have views of the completed project.

This is another sheet, that depicts the details of specific parts of the assembly. Some are even made into sub-assemblies as they need to be made before everything is welded up as a whole.

 

Yep.. I'm a hill dweller for that reason. Not saying it's impossible to hit the mountains.

They have some known paths of flatlands that they like to follow. South of Memphis or the area of MS just below it might get the most energy from this storm. Those are flat delta areas.

 

Even weather hates the midwest

 

We had one rip across the forest a couple years ago, now there’s a strip of dead fall that’s hell to walk through.

 

I’d rather deal with weather like this

 

Shit.

So yesterday afternoon/evening, apparently there was hail just 15mins from us in the city of Parlier.

There was a hit and run and the person took off.

Someone pulled over to tend to the vehicle that was struck, which then caused another accident.

Long story short, my MIL's cousin was among the wreckage; she passed away today.
