I have been attempting to install whiteline bushings. Attempting…. I cannot get the washer in. After consulting the Timmy how to vid, I saw that the rear bracket was not tapered like mine. Started wondering if it had somehow gotten bent.

Umm, it looks to me like you’re missing the washer on the right side which is allowing some slop inside the bracket area, allowing the arm to wiggle around. That’s what it looks like to me. It’s also canted at an angle. Left side of the arm is higher up toward the cab than the right side.

Those washers are tricky to install. So don't focus so much on whether or not that's bent... I had to start both washers by wedging them in, and then tapped them in with a dead blow until I was able to get the cam through.

The washers were snug for me also. I used a 12” mechanics prybar to encourage the bracket apart just enough to slip to final washers in place where needed.

@Kristi with a K are those Whiteline bushings?

Have someone help you. While they hold the control arm level in the frame member, you work on getting the washers in on each side of the bushing. You will probably have to tap them in place with a screwdriver or similar tool. Once they are close to being lined up, get an alignment punch or a big screwdriver and run it through the frame bracket, washers and bushing and push and pull to get everything lined up so you get the cam adjuster sleeve in. By the way, I'm Timmy.

Sorry, I got carried away in my response and didn’t realize that you already know the washer isn’t in yet. Oops. You’ll get it!

Problem is they were so tight that, whilst they would start, they were pushing in the sleeve & then getting caught on the poly on the other side, so even using something to try & move it over through the bolt hole wasn't working. These are the two outers. I can get one or the other & then the 2nd one or the other would get hung up. I tried to press the sleeve back up against it & that was a no go. & thank you for the vote of confidence!

I think it's time to get medieval with it then. Get something to pry against like a big impact socket in-between frame member, and then get a large pry bar in-between the socket and frame member end and start prying. If you push out the metal too much, no big deal. When you tighten the cam sleeve bolt, it will bring the frame bracket sides back in. That's what I would do.
