Decided to go ahead and start the refund on my SOS order. Just going to work on my own design, just didnt want to ride around a few weeks with no plastic on the front bumper. Going to be hybrid still. Thanks @Darkgoatracer for the files from yours. Going to print them 1:1 on a plotter and see how it lines up on the truck.

Also looking at FB and this guy is selling a '00 Tacoma 2WD, auto, 4 cylinder, manual windows & 284k miles (so basically the most base you can get in a 6 lug first gen) for $8,750 and it was listed for $9,950 I mean it looks super clean but maybe like $6k since it's so damn basic

Did I miss anyone? I was going to put together a PM, but apparently those are limited to 3 participants.

In talking with Jeff (@HootnHoller ) it sounds like we have options to order pretty much any caliber we want with a few exceptions (i.e. currently no 300 AAC). It also sounds like we have time and this isn't necessarily a one and done sort of deal. Prices depend on the quantity. This is where it gets tricky. How do we know how much we want if we don't know the cost? We'll need to gauge interest and present a number. Jeff will then take it to his company and get us prices.

For those who are too far to make the drive (and no TW express available) they offer flat rate shipping. Jeff will confirm.

Since there are so many calibers and grain weights, I vote we keep it simple and do one at a time. I'm leaning toward using google docs with a private document to track interest. For now, just reply here. If I can do the google sheet to track interest and present, I'll send a PM with a link.

My interest would be for 1-2k of 223/5.56 and 500-1k 9mm.

The way I'm looking at it is this: 100-1000 rounds seems to be about $0.37-.42 per round currently for 9mm. Most of what I'm seeing in stock is $0.40/rd. So that puts me at a max of $400 for 1000 rounds.

We want this to be beneficial to all parties involved. We get a better deal on ammo and the company selling it makes a profit. I have no idea what the discount would be, but I'm in if I can get 1000 rounds for less than $400. If it comes back at $300 (which I think is unlikely, but I have no idea. Just picking a number) then I might be interested in doubling my order.

I've asked the question about bullet weights. I'm only really interested in brass case. I'm guessing most people will want 115 gr for the 9mm, but I bet there are a few that would prefer 124gr or subsonic, which I believe is 147gr and above. Also, FMJ or HP. TBD, I suppose.

I vote we start with 9mm and .223 seem to be the primary that people are looking to get.

From an organizational standpoint, I'd prefer to do just 9mm in one phase and then come back and do the .223 order. However, if the shipping is flat-rate, it makes sense to combine those orders for those who need shipping.

No worries. If all goes smoothly, maybe we could make it happen on some sort of frequency.
