Update: My VSPEC delivery was holding strong at 3/31-4/02 for a couple of weeks, but then all of the sudden today a couple of hours ago it changed to 4/4 to 4/6. What the hell? The truck has been sitting at an auto ramp in IN for 2 weeks now. Hopefully they don't get a hail storm or something. So frustrating it is 3 hours away from the dealer and Toyota can't deliver this thing on time. It's tough to be patient at this point, but that's a requirement if you want one of these in the midwest. Seems like folks on the coasts that don't need rail involved are getting theirs much faster. Mine was built 1/28, so it has been in port/logistics for over 60 days

My salesman just confirmed that the truck is in fact on the ground, and he expects it any time today or tomorrow at the latest. Right on with my ETA for those wondering.

That's a temp VIN. It should have gone to production the week of the 13th and now has a permanent VIN

Been busting my hump all morning getting my Silverado all gussied up for trade in tomorrow. She was good to me the past 6 years, a lot of good memories made. It’s a little bittersweet getting her pretty for the big send off. One last trip to the spa for the ol’ girl.

Just saw an update. dealerCategory: "G"... App shows update at 1:15 PM of 1 additional mile (total 4 miles) - ETA 3/31-4/2. Let see... still not sure why my internet sales person/my contact told me it will be few weeks before arrival... when I contacted him last week.

1 mile on odometer, 1/8 gas tank. Making progress. ETA still bumped back to 4/22 to 4/27 though.

Put down a refundable deposit in November, not even an allocation. Been in contact with my dealer since them, just heard again, Toyota has not accepted the "build" I requested, dealer says they will continue to submit for an allocation. So my next question is..

    Do I buy a F150 XLT or a Lariat?

Any reasoning for this? Nearly every person on here got their truck via submitting a deposit and accepting a build that suited their desires.

Well I'm getting a tad disappointed, maybe even what's the word when I can't wait (impatient). Anyhow.. I thought my request was pretty plain Jane.

2022. DCLB TRD-OR, MGM or Silver, premium OR / advanced tech. I didn't ask for any specific add'-ons, just a run of the mill Tacoma.. simple I thought

Dude keep on trying. Hit every dealer around. I went to every dealer near me many in conneticut and a few in rhode island. Put 3 deposits down ( refundable of course ) and im getting her tomorrow. Wait was brutal but well worth the wait.
