As far as I know we don't have those, we just have regular moles. Ain't that right @StayinStock :D

Electrolysis is just as hands off as the rust solution. All we ever do is mix up a batch of electrolyte (baking soda and water primarily IIRC), fill the tank, drop in the anode & cathode (steel plates permanently connected to a cheap battery charger), drop the item in, and walk away... sometimes it's a week, sometimes a month. The only things you have to do is top up the solution and occasionally try and "work" the parts.

Buy a wireless keyboard and use that one.

My shop laptop keyboard is never used. I consider the $25 for a disposable keyboard just a shop expense.

I never have to touch my $1800 laptop with filthy hands.

    Laptop still looks new.

I don't think it's that easy with a laptop. Desktop keyboards can take the deep cleaning you described.

I assume they are sealed where the keys are? The Sprite didn't mess anything up other than the sticking. I may try to spray some WD-40 in it if it won't hurt it.

I brought up the mole cricket thing not because I love talking turf and its pests, but to bring to Creeds attention a tractor attachment that maybe he hadnt seen in action.

I'll look one up and see how they work, so far all the implements I've made function like the real ones, for the most part. Making something like a drill would be cool but tough with all the small parts. Maybe I need to make something on a bigger scale for Cole's mower

I had one of those come waltzing in my shop one day, I was like.......:eek::eek:
They're savages!! I've been keeping an eye out, so far so good. But when they start tearing up my yard I'll hit em with my relocation device.

Nasty buggers...or is it boogers? I dunno but i had to nuke them with the killer pellets. They would usually bypass the trap somehow. I did catch a couple in one trap but wasnt effective. One i had a nice cabbage and it ate the root from bottom, and i pulled on the cabbage and nothing below ground level. Applied pellet treatment and problem went away. I know people have pets so they cant use pellets.

When you get that rush job done that is a redo anyway cause the customer wanted it wider and your boss comes out and says crap, I forgot to move the holes on the print :frusty:

I’ll have to get creative to put the 1” counterbores 1” deep on the back side now that the ends are welded on

I may have to try the pellets; I usually catch 6-8 per year in the trap. They must breed like rabbits.

I need to invest in some traps. We have an outdoor cat so no pellets allowed
