Good day CT.

Home sick from work.

Woke up early then back to bed and I'm up again. Going to have some soup and lay on the couch.

 

Hope you feel better. At least better by the weekend, so it's not ruined.

 

Just as an aside, I met with Karen, Rick's (@Unchained 5150 )wife, on this past Saturday, And went through all of the stuff that He had in his garage related to his tacoma and took some things off of his truck and replaced them with OEM stuff (I was over their for 6 hours). I will be cataloging all of his tacoma mods and equipment and I will be creating a "Rick's memorial garage sale" thread and putting pictures of all of the items up for sale. All proceeds from these sales will be going to the family. There is A LOT of stuff so please bare with me. It is going to take time to catalog everything and put it up with pricing and what-not. I will post the link to the thread when it is up and running.

As of tonight, but only becoming official tomorrow because of paperwork, the in-laws have officially downsized.

After my Taekwondo class tonight, I took the Taco to the "old" place and moved 28 2x4s that my father in law had in his basement. He accumulated them over time because of the place he worked at before retiring. Moved them all in one haul.

Then went back and got a couple more things that wouldn't fit in the back of their tiny car. The furniture, etc, they paid a small moving company to pack up yesterday and move today.

So now I "lose" a "customer" in my very small summer mowing business.

 

Gotta help family.

 

For sure. It's the least I can do considering all of the help they've given the Mrs and I all these years.

I had offered to help move furniture, and so had my dad. But long story short, the original closing date fell through and the buyers decided they wanted to do it tomorrow, late yesterday. Luckily for my in-laws they knew of a small moving company that had gone to their house when someone purchased a large item they were selling because of downsizing, and the company was able to do it despite the last minute notice.

Still sick, should be better by tomorrow.
I get sick once every five to ten years.

I would take a ride to get out of the house today but not with these gas prices.

 

Feeling better today. I may actually try and have solid food.

I may start taping up the harness later today. I was going to add the switch/wiring for the electric locking rear diff (future project) but I could add that later.
I still may add the wire from the 4WD computer to the cluster so the rear diff lock light illuminates (it would be difficult to add that later).

 

Seeing lots of similar stomach bugs in the hospital lately. Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea that wipes you out for 24-48 hours usually and then leaves. Hopefully you’re on the upswing.
