The mole holes suck; but when the neighborhood dogs try to dig them up and create a hole the size of a 5 gallon bucket...that really pisses me off. There are no leash laws in my neighborhood...it's like the wild wild west 'round here!!
I've become that old bitchy guy.

 

Disassemble and clean with cleaner & q-tips? Sounds like a sticky situation whatever you do.

 

Folks, please avoid using poison if at all possible! I get that folks like a nice, level, green lawn, and roots on their cabbage, but there's a huge potential downstream effect to using this sort of treatment in terms of potential effect on wildlife, especially carrion eaters, and especially, especially birds of prey who may encounter the carcass of a poisoned rat/mole/squirrel/whatever, ingest some of it and the die as a result.

I think a lot of it has to do with how we were brought up, my dad was a kill it all however kinda guy. One of my favorite dogs died from eating rat poison in his barn.

 

I get it, but these moles dont ever come back out. From my experience.

 

Only time I've ever seen one out of the ground is if the cat catches one somehow.

 

Yeah i think they come out at night but not sure either. Back in idaho outside cat caught one

I really liked my neighbors way of killing moles.

He would scalp the lawn flat on Friday night.

Saturday day break he would be sitting in his lawn chair on the lawn in his bath robe, a newspaper, a six pack and his shot gun.

The ground would move and it got blasted!

Can't really do that now ( maybe Russ can).

 

Roof is settled with insurance company, cost us $900 out of pocket. Tickled pink with that

 

My youngin is 6 months old today, she's talkin jibberish and slobberin just like her old man. Crazy how fast that went.

 

The jibberish talking age is good stuff!
