Hot Wheels

I've been taking pictures. I want to build up a stockpile of photos so I can post on Wednesday's and not be rushed for a new shot every week. Looking to start it up again in 2023

William 63. Why do diecast VWs have towing hitches on them? VWs often have a hard enough time pulling themselves not a lone a trailer. I remember going through the Rockies in my dad's 65 Bug. 30-35 going up. 75-80 coming down.

 

Care to elaborate on this?

 

I did the same thing - passed them in a supermarket and then bought them all.

Considering how to turn one into a DCLB.

 

I like to know myself. Seems to only be on the matchboxes. Don’t remember seeing a hitch on any of the hot wheels. They really didn’t have the power to tow anything other than a small trailer. You can build a lot of horsepower in that small motor but factory didn’t have a lot.

 

If you go back many pages @Toyotacrawler use to post a new hot wheels every Wednesday. It wasn’t just a hot wheels I looked forward to see but his pictures were just as awesome. Here’s one of my favorites he posted.

 

Looking forward to it. And as was mentioned before don’t let it become a chore for you and don’t think that come Wednesday you have to stop what your doing to make sure you get that picture in.

 

This is sweeeet. Everything about it. The color of the wheels, the rag top, the mint green. Love it.

Just curious.. and my apologies if it's been asked before, but are you the customizing all the cars and what does something like that cost?

 

No I have a good friend that did a lot of the cars I have posted over the years. A few I bought from eBay and a couple at shows here and there.

 

I only have a few left that I haven’t posted yet. They are mixed in with other crap. I might start posting some of them again. Not all the bugs but a few of the other customs my friend built.

Found the olds and completed the mud runners set today.








The chocking hazard is probably my favourite of them all, almost missed it and the dream wagon today but spotted them last second as I was about to walk away.

 

Anyone know if this is a Toyota? I don't see it labeled anywhere what it is.
