I'll admit when they work, the look good going through mud.

but after going through said-mud. they break a tie rod or something. I know a guy who can tell you the story of last's years Ardbeg run when one of his GMC canyon buddies broke the truck on the trail.
    :stirthepot:
the same trail that a bunch of Subaru toasters took that same weekend and drove out without issues.

I'm just messing with y'all. Me and my dad switched trucks for the day. 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Duramax CCLB. I have to admit, 7L/100km on the highway was nice for my 6 hours of driving today.

Wow. The 3.0 diesel ain’t doing too bad. That’s just as good as my hyandai accent which gets 6/100. Sucks the price of diesel is so high though, I’m sure it works out to the same as gas….

It’s mathematically slightly better on fuel economy. The thing that pushed it over the edge for him was it was basically the same cost as the 5.3 V8 (pre chip shortage, not sure now), gets better gas mileage, and tows better. We had a 5.3 before this, this blows it out of the water. Also, 1000km out of a tank on a road trip is awesome, considering that’s really what this truck is used for.

It isn’t exactly the most fuel efficient config either, being about 12 miles long and having the x31 off-road package…

now include cost of repairs for any gmc product per 100kms and suddenly Toyota 10L/100KM isn't that bad, not looking at those peasant 2nd gens with hungry engines. :crapstorm:

Surprisingly both this and our 19 (which was totaled by a kamikaze deer) were solid. This has 35k, 19 had just over 100k.

I bought the correct transmission ? :notsure: yes, even with 35s on..., enough to drive from Ssauga city to Ardbeg, wheel in 4LO and come back on one tank.

PS my speedo and computers are also adjusted for the tire size,
