Yeah I did coilovers mounted to the axles and heavily triangulated uppers and lowers. My links are long and flat so I don’t get a lot of feedback from bumps, but Johnny joints would help a DD. I don’t like how low the trailing arms hang down. I was able to tuck everything up and in the center and no lower than the factory crossmembers. I’d slap some leafs on it if I planned on doing anything but trailering it honestly. Much less work and won’t have to back half it and do a fuel cell. But I’ve got that figured out if you go that route haha

Ian and Brittany are a bit insane though.
He started to rebuild it then life changes and shop and stuff now lost all motivation for it. But Brittany has that zuk that he'll hook up again. He's also very open about everything with that truck and other projects doesn't try and hide anything.

Totally meant it as a joke. I’m totally happy getting the scraps that fall off JD fab’s dinner table. That being said, took the bumpers off and sent them on their way to their new home. Truck looks funny. LT going on next week.

I’d buy a cage kit right now and you can call me whatever pronoun/adjective you want.

Yeah ive followed him for a while and learned alot from his instagram stories. Hes one of the reasons i started looking into suspension geometry and different suspension styles and their trade offs.

Would it be worth making that work for an Access Cab, or would it be best to just start from scratch? I assume you don't care about the shorter cabs, as there doesn't seem to be as many of them.

I wish there was a premade access cab cage, even if one like the 4xinnovations which I fully acknowledge isn’t as stout as some other cages out there. Would just give me some nice peace of mind for a slow flop.

I'm definitely not a fan of their cage, I feel like my knees would be destroyed by that horrible A pillar, and it's not very tight to the cab. Though I'm sure you're aware of that. I do hear you though.

Yeah it’s definitely not an ideal option but I feel it’s better than something I could come up with. Even though I have the tools to make it happen I don’t think I’ll ever take on that project.
