Nothing wrong with that! When I escape into nature, either for a hike or Mt. bike ride, or the week in SW Colorado last summer driving the Alpine Loop and other trails, I always feel a sense of calm and peace.

Utah has some awesome state parks too. Smaller crowds, camps are reservable, and they tend to have more amenities than the National Parks. Win win. Oh, and most are a stone's throw from the NPs too.
Goblin Valley and Kodachrome are my favorites.

I had her go check out kayenta campground at dead horse earlier today it looks like a place I would like to visit I know their itinerary mentioned dipping into Arizona and one of my bucket list camping spots is north rim campground. I don’t want to hijack their trip but if they get close I asked them to do a scout out the north rim campground. Actually the south rim campground has my interest as well when we were there the last time I was impressed with the selection at the grocery store we could walk to from the campground although fairly expensive. Being able to walk or bike to pretty much anything you need works for me actually they had me at local craft beer some people are just easy!
