Has anybody had problems with loose guide pins ( 2019 off road) It seems that the brake pads are loose on the pins and I get a "CLANK" when going over bumps and potholes. Solutions?

I would venture to say you aren't hearing your brake pads clanking around. They shouldn't be that loose. If you remove the wheel, can you rattle the pads around that much?

Pad slap? Pretty normal when changing directions but idk about bumps and whatnot. Seems excessive

Are your retainer spring clips still there? If so, pull pins, clips pads and shims. Lube everything with brake pad grease. Reinstall should quite them down. Mine were clanking and that worked for me.

Add an additional retainer clip (anti-rattle spring) to each side. They only come with one on each side.

Remove and brake grease pins and pads/shims. This is what mine did also. Factory grease needs to be cleaned off first.

Yes I can rattle the pads around by hand. Just had the dealer take a look and it seemed they did a major dose of anti-sneeze compound. It also seems that if I'm on the brakes when going over bumps/potholes the sound doesn't occur. original callipers and pads did the same thing, then replaced for jobber pads .All of this is quite annoying. I live in Quebec Canada which is just 1 giant pothole
