Oh wow. , Hawaii to Maryland. How you like that ? If you have young kids there is a nice train ride , Thomas the tank engine near Lancaster.

 

Sometime I feel like I’m wiping a marker down there.

 

So I have to ask… how hard is installing a lift? Full suspension. Thinking of going old man emu medium load 2-3 inch. Thanks!

 

If you're a good mechanic with no experience ripping apart a Taco and not doing UCAs? A day probably.

If you've done it a couple of times you can bang it out in 4 hours or less without a lift.

 

depends on the age of the truck and where it’s spent it’s life. If rust free the above is true. If not, plan on a week by the time you need to order the parts you don’t know you’ll break as you take things apart.

 

Two years ago, you couldn't even find TP!

Same out my way. Supposed to have a schedule stop at 430pm to 5pm depending on when the lady will be there. Only problem is if it's raining we can't do anything outside.

So true. My 2010 4Runner had to have parts cut off to do the lift. It was bought used in Baltimore. Not sure what they use on the roads down there in Winter but it wreaked havoc on the suspension. If I recall correctly the lower control arms had to be replaced which I had not factored into the job.

 

Maryland loves using the liquid brine, has for years. Any hint of winter weather and they spread it all over. I will say, driving in the snow is alot easier in Maryland...

This is what the guy has listed as the description

“Jeraco bed cap off of a Toyota Tacoma. Not sure what year the truck was that it came off of, but the cap measures 63 1/2" wide at the front, 62" wide at the back, and 67" long.”

 

After the rain stopped, it turned out to be ok. It's warm, windy, but warm.
