Have there been any reports on the various stoppages during lap 37-38? Bottas, Alonso & Ricciardo?

 

I think if they had red flagged that late in the race it would have just been over. They wouldn’t have restarted the race

 

That's a fair point, but I figured you could make some changes to those rules (I mean they did change the rule about letting all cars thru during a SC) as this seems the most fair. Even playing field on tires with 5 laps to go, but again it's over and I doubt it'll happen ever again so onwards to '22

there is a time limit to get race distance in so as long as there was time remaining they would restart the race

 

Incredibly sad. Max Mosley shot himself after terminal cancer diagnosis.

The diagnosis was two or three years ago and he was in the final palliative care stage of the disease. Good for him being able to check out on his own terms.

 

Having cared for someone with terminal cancer up until the minute they died I know how brutal the final stages are.

Max managed to save himself and his family some heartache and gave his wife a fond final memory of the last day they spent together…

 

Possible Las Vegas announcement by Formula 1 today. They posted a teaser video on their Twitter. People have paused the video and are able to make out the Las Vegas sign and the high roller ferris wheel.

I couldn't take the full race with Buxton either.
Crofty and Jensen were much better.
