    That's exactly my thoughts also... looking back at that link i shared in post #53 it appears he attached his clamp to the middle leaf bracket. I attached to the forward bracket... used a 3/4" hose clamp and left the bolts loose so the bracket/hose clamp can pivot when the suspension flexes. Also, changed out the mounting bolt to 1/4" longer and used a lock nut.

    When you install your leaf pack, don’t forget to grease the three bolts. I only remembered to do this on one side of the truck, and lo and behold the other side creaks. I will be reinstalling the bolts on the other side with grease this weekend.
