Anyone else have recommendations and positive results on 6x9's for 2nd gen? I am getting ready to replace mine. I have a Sony HU non JBL. Not planning on replacing the tweeters if I can get by with it. I am probably adding a powered sub under the front seat.

I am sure there are a dozen or so that work great but would just like to hear from your experience. I like the $100 price range give or take. Looking for a good a value vs performance. Thanks.

Yes I went with the Subaru. The combination was a good improvement.

I had that same issue with the Metra brackets. Ended up just making some out of wood using the metras as a rough template then returned them
