Now that you mention it, I do see a little, but I still don't think it's that bad. But your suggestion will definitely eliminate most if not all of it.

I'm used to chatter being pretty noticeable here and its usually a speed/feed issue or too long of a tool hanging out.

 

Same here. I had a key way looked just like that this week, it was due to a dull end mill. Swapped it out and it looked a lot better.

 

Gentlemen (along with Ms. Mollie, of course).....carry on please.

 

I searched through our meager collection and couldn't find one to hold it, so the chuck was the next best option

 

If the key way fits. Send it..

Got the worse plug I could find.

Got myself a new angle grinder since the one I have has a broken switch lock. PITA to keep it running while using it. After building the winch frame it made the decision easy…
