Finished my truck today. After going through all the bags and putting together the sub assemblies I figured it was safe to put it all together. The piece I'm missing is part of the steering column and it should be pretty easy to get to once the part arrives. Just got to pull the roof, windscreen and hood.
    0401221510.jpg
A lot of the reviews complained about the model feeling flimsy and parts falling off as it was assembled. I didn't find any issue with it. The Christmas wreath was a PITA but otherwise no problems.
And the other major complaint was color variations in the red bricks. Thought it was all going well until I got to the roof and saw that 2/4 of the 4x4 panels were much darker than the rest of the truck.
    0401221511.jpg
Not thrilled with the marks from the molds or whatever on the side of some of the bricks. And no, can't turn them. Those have the little pincher claw things on the opposite side so they have to be oriented this way.

Just look at the build thread
Got the console, game cartridge, and controller assembled from my Mario set. Started the TV set and missing a couple pieces I can't continue without. So hopefully they'll be here soon and I can keep going.

VERY rough IRL mock up of the camper just to check the fit with the truck. So far I've used every available 1x plate and most of my 1x bricks  just looking at overall outside dims for now.
Had to add 2 studs to the length to clear the bumper.
Going to have to build my own door, the largest stock 4 stud wide is just too small.
Got to figure out how to keep the cab over part structurally sound. I have a 5th wheel and motorhome set so I'm going to look up the instructions for them to get some ideas for that

Coming down the stairs, there are four doors to crew bunks/storage/head/whatever. No actual interior detail behind these.
