Maybe. If we're talking huge AUM, then gains in other areas may be sufficient to pay the borrow fees owed in perpetuity. In which case there's a weird stalemate.

Or maybe they just have their algos covering a tiny portion at a time any time the price gets below 150 and their quants have planned it out to take 15 years if it keeps ping-ponging between 100 and 150.

    Iunno man. Shit's weird. Maths.

Kinda sucks for the math whiz when there's a legit business plan they can't algo against.

The cellar-boxed stocks....the sears and blockbuster, and toys r us. They still trade, but retail doesn't have access to those markets. And HF's make money off of them daily.

They fucked around and they found out. Fuck you pay me.

The first split I ever witnessed was Marvel Comics, I saved the $500 checks my grandparents gave me from when I was 7-11 and put it mostly into Marvel before the split (before they started doing movies, I liked the stock/comics) and diversified with IBM, and Pixar. I remember the look on my cousins faces when they realized the $500 they had always spent on pokemon etc could have been X100’d. The split was huge $ wise for me especially at ~10 yrs old. My parents told me it was rightfully mine and I could do what I want with it and I put it into a savings account.

At 30 yrs old even though I didn’t go into finance I think this still is the play of a lifetime. I personally can only speculate on what a split might look like but I do believe they’ll have to recall outstanding shares? Either way, I 100% trust RC. I think he wants hedgies to go fuck themselves as bad as we all do. It started personal (for reasons I mentioned a looooong time back in here), and I have more faith it’s going to end that way too (with us on yachts, poop olympics, etc).

I’m still hodling the 4/1 and 4/14 105 & 160 calls btw. Tomorrow will be fun to watch

If you have a 1000 GME shares on a 7:1 split and it meanders back up to $150 after a year, congrats, you've got $1m on organic growth

What if you had 4,000ish shares *scratches chin*

Love to see it. deciding on whether or not to yolo my boring rollover IRA I have that's been sitting for a week.

F.A.T. just got plopped on my calendar so I can't do much of anything today anyways but maybe watch.

Have fun today everyone, and remember, keep your arms and legs inside the rocket at all times :)
