I don't have any pictures to offer but a couple guys with 1st gens that switched from ST Maxx to these Yokohama's said they were much improved over the coopers.

I had 285/75R16 K02s with 40K miles on them before my 35x12.5R17 G003s. The Yokos are a little louder but not offensive. They make just the right amount of that MT hum at low speeds (sounds badass, to be honest) but freeway noise is very reasonable.

I've got about 6-7 thousand on them now and they haven't gotten any noisier. Overall, much quieter than most MTs I've had in the past.

I'm trying to understand if, with the treads in mind, if they have a similar width/look....that's where the coopers have me is in the look (and they are no slouch) dept. I think they don't look too skinny because of the chunkyness

These yokos are the quietest mud tire I’ve ran so far. Obviously not as quiet as an all terrain but definitely noticeable compared to a KM2 and Toyo MT that I’ve ran on my previous truck.

I would guess that the Yokohama’s will look a slight bit skinnier. The manufacturer measurements list the Yokohama as 33.2x10 and the coopers as 32.8x10.2

I haven’t ran my Yokohama’s yet since I just got them in today, but I did run some St maxx in a 265 a few years ago. They were great off road, smooth on the hwy, but felt like concrete flinstones tires on small bumps around town. I ended up selling them and getting some copper XLT’s

Thank you! Had my eye on Bronze wheels after I saw a T4R in Cavalry Blue with a set. Just picked up a set of Bronze BR6's too! Not sure if I'll run them yet, but they're in high demand, so I know if I decide to sell, they'll go.

Yeah dudes are flipping those SCS wheels with no effort. I like the look of the FN’s you have.

I'll second (3rd?) what @greymachine and @captrussia253 said. You definitely know they're MT's. But, the sound at lower speeds is actually kinda soothing (maybe I'm just weird). At highway speeds, it's definitely noticeable. But, pretty easy to live with. And, easily overpowered by the radio. :headbang:

But, when I switched back to my Toyo AT3's this winter, it was night and day. I think the AT3's are comparable to, or maybe a pinch quieter than my KO2's.

That looks fuckin' great! Awesome color + rim and tire combo!!

Really curious how the G003 compared to the Toyo MT? I’m torn between both and i just made a thread about this lol.. this is for my 2500 Cummins.. everyone recommends the Toyos because that’s what they run.. I’d like to hear from someone who ran them both

The Toyos are much heavier. Other than that, I believe they're pretty comparable.

I am gonna give these a shot. Gonna go 285/75/16 unless anyone suggests otherwise. I drive maybe 100 miles a month so I am not all to concerned on mileage and all that.

285/75/16 or 285/70/17 - just depends on wheel size. Basically the same size tire.
