I like Vancouver picking up Brad Richardson off the waiver wire but wish they had found a way to keep Motte

 

Good read. It's crazy.
But that franchise got too much too early and in a way I think everyone else is kinda sitting back and laughing now. I like Vegas too, but maybe the hockey gods are paying them back for such an easy road since day 1, i dunno lol.

 

I think the Canes and Lightning are a close match this year, both have good goalies - with SOG, power plays and puck bounces the difference maker in a game they play.
Both have tough games coming up Thursday with Canes vs Dallas and TB vs Bruins.
Canes picked up Max Domi in the trades, I think he’ll play some Thursday so that will be interesting to see.

 

Hilarious Pens game. Haven't see 11 goals in a long time. 80s hockey lol.

 

Missed that game had to be something to watch. Was the goalie on a break? lol

 

Lol it was tough to say. Just seemed like 1 of those games where Detroit sort of didn't show up and the Pens seemed kinda jacked up to play after their last performance. Plus getting Geno back etc. But ya Ned let up I think 4, they put Pickard in and he let up 4. Then he got hurt and Ned had to come back in and then he let in a few more. Just brutal all around game. And the shots were about even between the 2 teams also, which was funny.

 

i’ve been a little surprised Ned hasn’t done better. Just goes to show the canes excellent defense must have protected him from those fronted shots and breakaways better than I thought when he was with us and playing well.

 

Ya exactly. I think we were talking about that not too long ago. He started off pretty decent in Detroit but in general has struggled. Not sure how much it's his fault, because no goalie has done well there in a while. But certainly it's much nicer playing behind that system in Carolina, I'm sure lol.

 

If these last few games are any indication, a Pens/Rangers series would be 1 heck of a 1st round battle. Bummer that we lost the last 2 but it's been close and exciting, every time. Rangers seem like the faster team though and that is giving the Pens some problems.

 

we did the penguins charity bag for our 5th year and you will not believe what we got for a jersey!

big game for the pens tonight! the wild have been an outstanding and generally low key team. will hurt to see flower in the green, just like it hurts to see him in anything other then black and gold

Ya that is a great pull. Probably the best thing that you could've got in the charity bag, in my opinion. It certainly is something worthy to be displayed. I also have one hanging in my office room at the house.

 

absolutely! we had quite good luck on some of the bags so far, but that tops the list!
