Yeah I think it has a thin metal ring embedded in it, but it's specifically designed to work with MagSafe. It's a Spigen Tough Armor Mag.

Edit: Here's a link. I really like Spigen, particularly the Tough Armor line. All my phone cases since about 2016 have been from them. They've held up to a drop here and there as well as being in my pocket/belt pouch when I work as a carpenter and stagehand.

Got my Baja designs rock light in the mail going to mount it under the hood for some added lighting. Pics to come when I install it. Also hoping my Switch pros come soon so I can wire that up!

How did you wire this in? does it only act as a stop light or directional as well ?
Did you use a Curt wire harness adapter, if so which one?

Well, we've had good blimps and dirigibles here in the US after that, but that was because we have helium. Europe doesn't, and if they're not our friends we're not giving any helium to them.

(I think the U.S. is the only source of helium on the globe. But I don't truly know that for sure.)

Installed the OEM LED’s this morning. Somehow managed a tiny scrape that is mostly invisible but still pisses me off. I double taped everything and was extra careful but oh well. They look great, can’t wait for a nighttime drive. 46583057-50B2-43AE-82A0-8CBA7FAB83A8.jpg

The black garnish on the headlights doesn’t look flush. Just the photo? Didn’t consider the color matched MESO CUSTOMS headlight trim to cover that area?

I had those head light on my 2018. Got them from Homedepot. Very Nice lights. The only problem was that the UV coating began to flake off after about a year of sun. Something to keep an eye on.

One of the side-hustles of just about any nuclear power plant is the collection and sale of helium since it's valuable and a byproduct of nuclear fission reactor operations. Hydrogen can be produced pretty much anywhere though so long as you've got access to water and electricity, and the pure O2 byproduct is valuable in its own right. I saw something the other day about a company that just announced a new tweak to the electrolysis method that makes the process 97 or 98% energy efficient, which is nuts, though end to end efficiency will probably be half that. So hydrogen blimps would be a helluva lot cheaper to run even if they have slightly less load capacity than helium. The only major downside is the fact that hydrogen atoms are so small that they leak through pretty much any container walls over time. Fortunately, being so cheap, that wouldn't be that big of a problem. It's also not like hydrogen is a greenhouse gas or anything. Even I'm not sure why an ex-Army IT guy without even an associate's degree knows this kind of stuff, but here we are.

Dammit... just realized I'm directly contributing to a thread-topic train-wreck again. Sorry everybody.

Man that just gave me a panic attack! Must have been the lighting, all is well. Personally not a fan of the trim plates.023AE181-33D5-471C-BC49-BA0D5176F726.jpg

Definitely something to watch, not really sure how to prevent that. I usually hit my headlights with wax when I’m waxing the rest of the truck. I wonder if there’s any product out there to prevent this though.
