I saw this and thought it's gotta be April fools but didn't want to call it out in case it was real and you were having the best day ever! hahaha nicely done!

 

There are some things you can joke about and some things you don’t….

You got me, lol. That’s why the sales guy was looking at me like I had two heads when I was mentioning it.

 

So those are 2 fake Pros on that lot?

 

Both are sold.

 

Seems rare that a Canadian dealer would have 2 pros in that color at the same time.

Yup, both are legit and yes, in the Cwood Toyota lot. They actually have about 8 Tacoma's and 4 or 5 new Tundra's I talked to Ted Rush, the sales guy at Cwood I have dealt with for years now, and of course they are all sold. It looks good to have inventory on the lot though!

 

Ted is great and I've been dealing with him for years as well. He's the only one I'll deal with. I have a Pro in black on order, here's hoping it gets built and delivered.

 

4-6 month wait rn at my dealer. I've seen some come in 2 months early, some 2 months late.

 

Has anyone else noticed that now Toyota has raised there interest rates as of April 1st. So much for RedTag Days. From what I know If you “order” a truck and the rates change you don’t get to pick which one you want. Say when you order vs when it arrives. I know with Ford you can pick which incentive you want.

 

When I purchased my 2020 Sport in October the 2021’s were arriving. The very last of the few available 2020’s were offered at 1.9% from Toyota for 72 months. 2021’s & 2022 if I remember correctly were hovering around 3.49%

Just checked a 22 sport and they are now at 4.29% As interest rates rise I wonder where they will stop. My 1.9% is starting to look good.

Yes. I remember that too. I was going to get a 2020 at that time too but I had just found out my wife and I were expecting out 3rd kid. I got an f150 instead at the time as her VW Tiguan wasn’t big enough for 3 car seats. Last spring she got a bigger suv. A Subaru Ascent. I traded the f150 on that one and have been driving the VW for about 10 months. I almost got a Subaru Outback wilderness instead of the Tacoma. I really liked it and we love her ascent but I wanted another Tacoma. But with the crazy used market right now on used Tacoma’s maybe I’ll get a Subaru for myself. Rates are a lot lower and they are great cars.

 

I'm not financing mine but if I remember correctly my sales guy had told me in december that rates were good for 90 days. Doesnt make sense on a truck that takes for months to arrive.

 

Still no DCLB OR for us Canadians ?!

 

Of course the rates went up. They were static for the longest time... Amazing.

 

Just talked to Morgan at Bayview Toyota in Kenora Ontario. They have an unspoken for TRD PRO Lime Green Auto due in May if anyone is looking.

 

Guess only Lime Pros in Canada!

 

Seems like it. But there are a few others.

 

Other than my white pro I’ve heard and viewed pictures of a few other white trucks and also turned down a black pro at race Toyota in Lindsay since it was auto and had the white 6MT inbound. But, yes the remaining 3 unspoken for pros I was able to find were all lime.

 

It does seem the majority of them are lime.
