I just bought a 2021 With 12k from a Toyota dealer, it’s a CPO and has all the right warranties in place, but also had that “as is - no dealer warranty” sticker. It just means the DEALERSHIP itself isn’t offering a warranty by default with sale, the manufacturers factory warranty is still in place, likely a CPO warranty too (unless it’s been wrecked, damaged, etc).

BTW, paid 44k for my 2021 TRD OR DCLB with great options and 12k miles. Original MSRP of 48k. Got tired of waiting for a new 2022 allocation and paid the insane price for a used truck. It is what it is (did sell my old Lexus for $7k more than I paid for it in Jan 2020 so called it a draw).

‘No dealer warranty’ meaning the dealer (Audi) wants nothing to do with that, because its still covered under Toyotas factory warranty.

I would like to know who traded a Tacoma for an Audi; As far as German luxury sedans go, I'm for Mercedes all the way...

My mechanic was a Volvo tech before starting his own shop, and he services a lot of European cars; Audi and BMW are among his least favorite to work on!

They probably paid a lot for the Taco and gave the guy a great deal on an Audi. Drove around last weekend and looked at a bunch of dealers. There was every model of BMW available at the BMW dealer. Same for the Audi and Mercedes dealers. The INFINITI Dealer had nothing to sell, except for two cars in the showroom and one used QX80. The Ford and Chevy dealers both had new trucks and cars of every style available. Except maybe top options. The Nissan dealer had two new Titans and two new base model frontiers. Lexus had nothing but used cars, and same for the Toyota dealer.

    Oh look, another mod....

The color matched front bumper is only like that on the Sport & Limited. The SR, SR5, Off Road & Pro all have a black front center bumper. On the Sport & Limited models, it's color matched to the truck.

They ought just call the "It's a Toyota" charge; That seems to be the only reason Toyotas are priced into the stratosphere!

And maybe this changed on later 3rd gens... but (pun intended) the rear bumper caps were CHROME on my 2018 OR. (I think w/ tech package they're color matched...) I've since taken care of that hideous problem on my truck and replaced the chrome caps with matte black caps to match the fender flares and the front center bumper piece. My inferno is Halloween all-the-way...

The whole hood swappin' thread reminds me of the Mustang taillight swapping back in the early 90's.
Everyone who I knew that had a GT wanted to put LX taillights on it...

Going back to the scoops... For me, they look cool, for sure. But my problem is they reduce my view of the world from behind the wheel. I like to see where I am going.

It looks like it has the tech, and premium tech. I was just trying to get a 2022 OR in LR for 4 months with no luck at 2 dealers.... finally got lucky and found one on a lot. Point of my post is that I had requested ORSB AT 4wd, LED headlights, tech and advanced tech. $44k was MSRP without any add ons. This is basically what dealers are doing... saying you want a 1 year old truck that is here today for slightly more? We just bought my wife a 2022 rav-4. $31k MSRP, 2 weeks out (ended up being a week). 2021 with 20k miles, same packages, $34k asking price. You want it now you payin! I waited 4 months it was agonizing.

I thought the appeal of a Toyota was that it was an affordable alternative to something that was traditionally more expensive.

I can't recall Toyota's ever being cheap, but paying an astronomical price for a Toyota, seems to defeat the purpose of buying a Toyota.

haha....The sport suspension appears to be good for a truck that spends it's life mostly on highways. It's stiff and sporty. It's good they do that.
I am not a fan of skewps because they reflect light way to much. But they do look good. I wish they would make the sport wth the full time 4wd that the limited 4runner comes with. I think many would buy more sports if they had that system.
