Birds, squirrels, possums, family of 4 raccoons, 3 foxes, and a herd of about 10 does. They go through some sunflower seeds and corn! Lol

 

I can’t click like for that.

 

You're lucky, that's a lot of wildlife. I have the fattest squirrels in the county in my neighborhood. The lady next door spoils 'em like they're her children so I expect overflow into my feeders.

 

I know!! I just finished listening to a river runs through it on audible I’m going to save this one. And listen again later camping in a comfortable chair creek side with a cocktail. Your right he paints a picture.

 

None of these shelters ever have enough help so welcome to the club!

 

You don’t want to hear that ending with anyone around though.

Tonight brats black beans and jasmine rice.

evening all

 

It was a long trip for nothin' They must've got a lot of rain in last night's storms. River was pretty high and muddy. Nobody was catching anything. It was lightly raining and turning sunny when I got there this morning. Entering the canyon was a rainbow. I was thinking "This is a good sign".

Then saw the muddy water and my heart sank Started getting really windy and then snowing like a blizzard. I was like, "Are you freaking kidding me?"
So after lunch I headed back towards VA where it was sunnier & warmer. Stopped near Wardensville, WV to try again at Trout Run. 15 minutes in and the wind started howling and snow flurrying.
I'd like to say it was nice to be out in nature at least, but it wasn't today. Burned 3/4 tank of gas and now my trucks all muddy again after yesterday's hand wash
...and no fish to show for it

 

Dog walking temp testing with other dogs but most important of all good pictures for rescues and adopters and cute videos will get them out of a shelter every time.

 

Woke up to icy roads today. But Mother Nature was nice to us today. The sun came out and melted all that crud.

Those Johnsonville Brats are a long way from home. They are made not too far me. Growing up you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a brat.

 

It’s hard to beat a brat brought slow on the grill!!
