In the last pic, the transfer tape has been attached to the top of the decal. You use this to help remove the decal from the decal backing paper.

You position the decal with the backing paper removed, rub the decal with Bondo spreader, then remove the transfer tape.

Rub out any bubbles in the decal. Done deal.

Been quiet. We had winter weather. I'm thinking peeps are waiting for some sunshine before opening their wallets.

It’s amazing how weather can affect the sell of something. If I want something it doesn’t matter what the weather is

May have to redo the poll tomorrow :D

A friend worked for years in auto parts stores, he always said that he had never sold wiper blades on a sunny day.

    Well, shit!

Shop boiler for the floor heat developed a leak.

Took it apart to reseal the leak.

The expansion tank fitting nipple was broke.

Now I have to figure out how to get those male threads out of the expansion tank fitting.PXL_20220402_150839585.jpg

If needed a new air scoop isn't all that expensive either fortunately.

Usually you can use a hack saw blade to weaken the broken nipple and then curl it in with a small sharp chisel.

I’d give it another week. The weather Michigan is having right now doesn’t make most want to think about their lawns.

I’ve seen a hack on YouTube or IG where you grab 4 largish bolts so there is a tight fit in thebore then twist those bolts as a bunch with a pipe wrench, causes the bolts to twist and wedge and bite into the softer pipe

I’ve use the hacksaw trick before as well

I just got it back together. Floor is starting to get warm again.

I was able to weld a bolt inside the broke off pipe. The threads screwed right out. I'm sure the heat from the weld softened up the pipe sealant.

    Zero damage to the threads!
