Hi everyone. My first post. Traded my 06 Tundra, for 2011 dbl cab long bed TRD sport w/ jbl barcelona red. Ordered it before Christmas, still hasn't arrived. Waiting to be installed when it gets here is Bilstein 5100's all the way around, fronts set at 2.5, icon progressive leaf, I'm going to leave in the overload. TRD cat back exhaust and drop in k&n filter, leather kit in dark graphite, not sure on perforated yet, also ss bull bar with skid plate, and fiberglass leer cap. Can't wait till it arrives, hope I don't miss the Tundra because I'm downsizing. Any thoughts or suggestions? :oldglory:

    A few bolts are different.
You wont miss it. The DC LB is the same size as an 06 tundra DC. Welcome to the forum.

    Edit: Nearly the same size...

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
The only thing you downsized is the motor. The dimensions of a 2nd Gen DCLB compared to a 1st Gen tundy are almost identical. (within an inch or two)

Welcome from Ohio. Congrats on your purchase.

Like you, I was on TW before my truck arrived, getting my fix. :)

I feel your pain. I waited 7 weeks to get mine. It finally came December 27.

If it's any consolation, it will be worth the wait.

And it will be less exposure to road salt. At least this year. ;)

Wow, quick responses. I guess I can't get so mad at my 14 yr. old daughter for sitting on her chatmail with her friends anymore. I was thinking maybe I should have waited awhile to do some of the mods, but then I won't actually get them done. Also will probably have power sliding sunroof installed. The seats will be heated and liquigel inserts. Any thoughts on perf. leather? Also how do you add a qoute under the post. I Love Thomas Jefferson.

I am a big fan of the founding fathers. They're probably rolling in their graves right now. But that's a topic for a different time and place ;)

If you go into control panel on the home page, it will allow you to customize your avatar and signature (that's where my Jefferson quote is), and a lot of other cool stuff I haven't got into yet.

It just takes a little on-the-job-training to figure it all out...:pccoffee:
