my 2009 drivers seat edge lasted about 5 yrs until it was torn to shit from the bum slide out the door. I traded it in in 2015 for a 2015

Pic below is 7 years on my 2015 with Marathon cover installed Day 1
    These are TOUGH covers.

    Pertinent Facts

    -TRD Sport fabric on 2009
-Same 2” lift on 33”s on both 2009 and 2015
    - I exit truck 10-15 times per day much of the year

I step on the side step and pivot to avoid the slide.

I tell my lady to do this…. Still slides out. Every. Time.

But she’s give me ‘play’ time. So, I guess it evens out?

Biggest tip after farming for a long while and ripping many seats -
Take your damn tools out of your pockets!
Also, get some Decent faux-leather covers and you will be all set. I got mine on the olde Amazon for ~150, and two years later and lots of abuse from the dog and I they are holding up well.

Lighten your wallet. When my truck gets really dirty I use the weed blower to clean it out.

I don't care about the seat cover, let's see the actual seat underneath to see if the cover is actually protecting it.
