The Tasca Ford 64 Thunderbolt is another one of several I have. I was really proud of that paint job. The Dick Landy 68 Dart came out really nice as well. Wish I could have said the same for the other photos I took of it. The Raybestos funny car is a rare example of a funny car build that came out the way I intended. Most never look that nice. I am ending doing many more kit builds unless I can pick them up under $20. Its crazy them wanting you to pay $30+ for a kit now that may or may not build out right. Lately I have been seeing to much of that. Ill customize Hot Wheels and die casts instead.

 

Hot Wheels custom vw bug. Painted a metallic grey and not real riders but some wheels from what I believe a Johnny Lightning car. Guy I bought this from didn’t know anything about it but whoever made it put a sticker on the back to let you know it was custom. First time I’ve seen that.

 

Kind of looks like Zinger wheels which I think Johnny Lightning owns.

 

I apologize for these. They are for William 63. I told him about this car and wasn't able to down load it into the conversations link. I ran across these pictures recently of my dads new 1965 Volkswagen Beetle. He bought it in Sacramento and was so proud of it. We moved from there back to the Ohio Valley in it with everything we owned on the roof and back seat. I was 5 and had to ride in the cubbyhole under the back window and my younger brother sat on the floor by my moms feet. We rode for 3 days like that. Dad sold the car because everyone was laughing at it when we got back to Ohio.

My uncle out there had a California Bug that he cruised with and got my dad into them. His had the nerf bumpers, rag top on the roof and wide white walls. It was red and older. He had that thing for years.

 

I gave all my Zingers away but I did go check some of my cars and I have a couple of Johnny Lightning bugs with this wheel. Don’t mind it but if I was going to take the time to drill and tap this car for a wheel swap I would use real riders.

 

Only cool thing I found at the store. No real restock.

 

Yeah, I work nights at Walmart. I didn't really buy them all!

 

Maybe we can be friends ?!?!
