She’s telling me they keep seeing convoys of Toyotas going here and there. I was telling her she’s probably in the center of the off-roading universe where she is and has been. She’s missing the 4Runner but they have road some dirt roads even though they are in a 2wd rental.

I don’t think they would like me walking into the grocery store with a fishing rod and pull smoked fish out of the display

@Tacoma Mike - Do you have any experience with the 2AZ-FE engines? I'm looking at a Camry with a hole in the side of the block, apparently one of the rods left the party early. The car has Commiefornia emissions, this seems to matter when I called some local commercial wrecking yards for a replacement. Plenty of federal emission engines available, nit so much with the emissions that I need. The question is- are the long blocks really different because of the emissions systems? I would think that a 2AZ-FE long block would be the base and what ever emissions were needed would just plug and play into the specific sensor fitting.

As far as I know the blocks are the same.
The head could be the same but never had to answer this question.
If you lost the rod at the wrong time your looking at a head and valve train issues..

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good afternoon all,:hattip:

Fun times at work today. Co-worker that we all worked with yesterday called at 1500 and said that he tested positive for the Covids. Mad scramble for everyone on duty to take a test. Basically first guy to test positive wins, er, uh, gets to go home early! o_O

No luck for me - negative results. :anonymous:

I hope you all have a nice afternoon and evening.

    :oldglory:

Good job on the test Jim! Welcome.
