I have a 08 v6 prerunner. just the sr5 edition not trd. i know that this makes me a one wheel wonder. I was wondering what options i have out there to see about getting a limited slip set up for my truck. I know everyone will yell do a search but im at work and cant use the time needed for a search. does someone make a kit, can i use parts from a junkyard do i have to do electrical work with it, i know that in old chevy's you just pop open the diff and add a lil here and a lil there and you have a limited slip. just wondering if someone could tell me what i need to do. thanks in advance.

TRD has an ls diff. Also, consider tje Detroit Tru Trak. Its a solid LS.

If you find one of the mechanical Limited slipps from 2005-2008 trucks that would be good, But last time I check there were only 4 available in US :notsure:
I had been looking for one on the cheap but so far no luck.
Trutrac is another option but trutrac does not work with one wheel i n the air so not sure if you want that.

If it has the sticker for LSD oil then yes you have a mechanical LSD.

The factory original new with carrier ready to swap is around 2K
The few I saw on the junkyards were little over $1K with small mileage to $650 with crap load of mileage.
