Hey guys, I've got a 2015 pre run double cab. Since I've had it, the steering gets really loose around 70. Like driving in heavy wind.

I took it to a front end shop, and they checked everything out with the suspension and such, said it was all solid.

I found the zip tie trick on here, but there's not enough slack in the bushings to get a big one, or even a tiny one in there. It does seem to move around a little when I wiggle it, but it actually seems like a normal amount of play. To me. No gaps, no rattling.

My 05 I had, had 300k miles on it, and drove like a dream. This 15, has 72k miles on it, and feels like something's gonna break on the freeway.

Is there something else that would cause this? Or should I check into replacing my steering column or upgrading my suspension?

Stock UCAs/LCAs? If so, check the bushings.

I had to tighten up the slider bushing on my 2013s steering rack to get rid of slop at the center. Still have some wandering but it's probably due to tierods
