The Yellowstone is actually quite good, I had the PA single barrel.

If you like a Rye, I actually like Whistlepig Piggyback more than their higher priced bottle.

What I usually do is go to the store, look for something I've never had and buy it.

I actually popped the cork on the Yellowstone last night - Lynn and I both enjoyed it. I have a few "standards" that I revert to - Maker's, Maker's 46, Buffalo Trace and Rebel 100 if I'm mixing something. Straight up, Maker's 101 and their Private Selects, Noah's Mill, David Nicholson, Willett....the list goes on. We also tend to look for bourbons we haven't tried when we go to the liquor store...and keep expanding the collection.

My goto is Knob Creek, something about Makers I just don't like. Bulleit is nice and smooth and I'll drink that if Knob is sold out. Woodford Reserve is okay, and I'll buy Bookers when they actually have it.

I also drink a shitload of Scotch, I love me some Ardbeg but it's getting hard to get. I also like the less smokey Speysides.

    Morning PA :hattip:

Guess I'll pick up a mailbox post and new mailbox post to install tomorrow. My current one is leaning pretty bad and now the mailbox won't stay shut. The other day when the storms rolled through all my mail got wet. Yup, time to get my ass out there and replace it

When I use to drink knob creek was one of my faves. Can't say I miss it tho. Better off that way.

Post has a case of the bends, but it was the only cedar one they had. It is level. Looks better than the crooked one that was there...

I saw on the local news that somebody stole the sign for the tavern, then returned it. LOL. It was the only thing that survived the fire.
