17x8 Konig CounterSteer Type X

All colors are in stock as of 4/1/22. I've been keeping an eye on their status updates.

 

I think that's what we were trying to confirm. they might say in stock, but actually we do not know what is on hand really.

 

I put in an order for the bronze, so hopefully they have some left from pre-orders/deposits. Their last update was 3/8/22 before the 4/1/22 update.

 

Dustin got back to me, I ordered a set of metallic blue, Volks are coming off and these are going on.

 

Yup I spoke to Dustin yesterday and he confirmed the stock. Can’t wait, I “should” feel the difference of 40lbs of rotational weight difference in the wheels.

 

Yep. He's busy like any business owner in this industry. He always gets back to the customer.

Anyone know if you can run then 16in -20 with stock suspension on 3rd gen?

might rub when flexing? just stick to -10, TRUST ME, I know. I had -38s for a while. after over a dozen alightment , and CMC, cutting, I said the hell with it.

 

Do the 16s come in -10? I thought only 0 and -20

 

Yes they’ll fit just fine, but expect some rubbing on the plastic at minimum

 

17s also come in -10. I am pretty sure they dont make a -20 , but maybe dustin has a special order for that offset perhaps?

for the 17"s thats the standard. and thats all I run. I bought a set of dark blue this week 17x8 -10. perfect wheel size for tacomas IMO

 

Yep, and the lower rear corner of the flare in my case. I ran 17” with spacers giving me around -25 offset with 265/70/17’s and rubbed when reversing and flexing. Got my 17” countersteers in -10 and had less rubbing on the street even though I went to 285’s

 

I should have waited on the tires lol
