Thanks to this thread and you boys in general I can't drive any other type of vehicle anymore unless it's boosted.

You guys got me eyeballing a LT4 ZL1 Camaro now. The only thing stopping me is the simple fact that it's a GM and they are not to be trusted in build quality.

But GODDDD the way they look and their power capabilities are killing me as far as wanting one goes!

Well that damn clamp got me twice, it was rubbing on the actual band of the clamp as well as the rounded ear of the squeeze tabs.

Haha. Ride in a SCed S-Runner back in the day. Then owned AWD Turbo Subaru, then SCed Taco with my EvoX. Now everyone in the family is boosted.

Shit. I guess we all have that damn issue. Gonna be rebuilding this sooner than I thought. Was hard to get the camera in, but it feels significantly pitted

Thanks, but luckily, I strongly believe I figured out my issue. I just have to do a quick idle log to see where the fuel trims are now.

So I have noticed with this talk about marring of the hose clamp. If you're running the HPS heater hoses, YOU DON'T HAVE THAT ISSUE! ;)
    LOL!

Got mine waiting. Even more motivation to change it out now. I don't think mine came with any ring clamps but I'm gonna have to go back and check

To all of you guys with AFR sensor concerns - Here is the authority on which part number your truck should use, the Denso website. Plug in your truck info, click 'Air Fuel Ratio Sensor" and it will tell you the right AFR and O2 sensors for it.

    https://densoautoparts.com/find-my-part.aspx

That being said, I ordered two 234-9051 AFR sensors from Amazon, they goofed up and sent me 8 in total. So I have 6 extras I'd like to sell if anyone is interested. They normally go for at least a hundred each. Let me know what you think is fair, I'm looking to recoup some money and pay it forward at the same time. Maybe $125/pair shipped? I think that is about 1/2 price when you figure in taxes and/or shipping.

The ONLY difference that I can tell from some research on the different years and different part numbers that Denso has, is the length of the wire harness. The 234-9051 has a medium length connector compared to other years I looked at. I've seen between 6" and 12" wire harness lengths. So if you need an exact fit you might want to order the right part number. But if you have different exhaust headers, or sensor extensions for monitoring in the collector of your long tubes.. the harness length matters way less. Do your research, I'm no authority on AFR sensors by Denso... maybe someone can confirm. Let me know if you are interested in a brand new pair of 234-9051's.

I copied some images from the Denso site below, the sensors I have are 8.66" harness, others are between 6 and 12 inches).

These are genuine Denso, new in the sealed baggie, box, with anti seize applied, laser etched part numbers, etc.

Only thing I don’t get is after putting in my info, it shows 2 o2 sensors for downstream part #’s and an AFR sensor part #. But nothing for upstream o2 sensors…

upstream O2 and AFR sensor is the same thing. But the rear/downstream ones are different compared to the front. I believe all the AFR/upstream sensors have a 234-9xxx part number, the o2/downstream sensors have 234-4xxx, but don't quote me.

This is the O2 Sensors I installed last summer. Denso 234-4927 Oxygen Sensor. I don't remember if that is up or downstream. Only email i could find on it.

I do know my downstreams were soooo seazed

i think your sale offer is a deal. i wish i hadnt bought mine a month ago. if you have hp tuners do the downstream sensors still play a part in engine management? they are the only ones i havent changed.

Downstream sensors always play a factor in engine management as they are the last gatekeeper towards cleaner emissions output before the final pathway to free air. That being said, there is no adjustments that can be done on them outside of deletion. Same goes for the upstream AFR's. They are designed to work how they work.
