The M looks well built, typical FWC quality. I wasn't really impressed with their electrical install, kind of sloppy (no grommets used in the bed penetrations). I can see where the dust is going to be a nightmare considering what I deal with in my Tacoma with a shell on it.

I don’t like their use of the Atwood trolling plug. It isn’t waterproof and is only held in by friction. Marinco are a waterproof twist lock.

So which Grandby floor plan? If I had choice the front dinette seems most efficient.

Yea, feature creep is definitely a issue, but the real issue is our desire for those creature comforts. Am I getting older?

Mine is the rollover couch but I didn't have much choice buying used. I put a Lagun Table mount on the couch and it works well. I like the storage under the rollover couch.

Here ya go. I bought the Lagun Hardware Kit and just bought a piece of laminated wood at Lowes.

    https://www.lagunusa.com/product/lagun-table-system

The mount on the front of the couch shimmed out to clear the lip of the couch.

The legs stow on the underside of the table top.

I trimmed the table top down to clear the cabinets.

Thanks, that is really sweet job. I may do the same, as the current table is the removable one.

You could probably mount the current table top to the Lagun bracket.

Well I upgraded the tires today and moved to Cooper Discover AT3 LT. 10 ply. Amazing difference from the Hankook AT p rated.

I am running 70 front and back but steering is light so going to drop to 65 front and try that out. 80 is max. From what I can tell most run 65/55.

Nice job. The factory supplied "pole and base of anger" are f'n useless. More of a trip hazard.

Thanks. I am going to do some tests in 5lb increments next trip. I don’t want crazy wear issues.

Pretty much the same here. We’re running 45/50 front/rear on E rated BFGs for the past 45,000 miles. Still have probably 20,000 miles left. Running around 6,900 to 7,300 lbs.

    more little fixes:

Added a smart shunt/battery monitor, this has bluetooth so i can log history on my phone.
I have the aux input wired to the truck battery so i can keep eyes on all the batteries!
    281800730_10116075814031633_794476717271_ae080d208f4f84cfc202801255b77b29dad3e6a6.jpg

added a little blue LED that will light up when the automatic charge relay is latched. basically a quick glance to tell if the house battery is connected to the truck battery or not. Shouldn't ever NEED to know, but it makes me feel better knowing the status of everything.
    283087517_10116075814051593_124919053911_6c98d10db3993a6f218239f7ecaae4aacc56af9c.jpg

after moving a bunch of electrical and water related stuff around in this cabinet under the sink I wanted to maximize the storage space while keeping everything delicate protected. So i bent up some aluminum and now have a good wall of protection while gaining some storage volume compared to the factory partition

If anyone has found a light that replaces and fits where the stock lights are pls share. The stock ones are on the delete list, switch fails and bulb contact corrosion reoccurrence. Mine have not stood up to fine dust/sands and wet environments. Their getting more maintenance than use o_O

have you taken the stock one off yet? I'm wondering if it's just as easy to just eliminate them and plug the holes rather than replacement.
the DD SSC2 has a backlight which im not utilizing right now but would function exactly the same as that original light.
I should put some dieelectric grease on the bulb contacts... thanks for the warning.

    more simple upgrades:

    Super simple turnbuckle door ventilation.
Step 1. Poke a big hole in the door.
Step 2. Install a big blast door.
Step 3. Add stainless mesh to the outside with a big hose clamp.
Step 4. Enjoy nice air circulation without the critters joining you inside the camper.
