350 is on the low end of what I get out of a tank. I usually get 400-410 out of tank. This is what I got a few weeks ago:

    Same.

for the few times I’ve actually gone through a single tank without filling up at a 1/4 or 1/2 tank mark.

Of course. I drive to work uphill, both ways, in the snow....with a head wind! JK. I live in Texas. This state is pretty damn flat. There are few hills of any kind. Also, 95% of driving is commuting to & from work. All highway driving.

I keep it under 65MPH (any faster and the MPG average will drop quickly) and can even set the cruise control on the way to work. It's just under 19miles each way. Also, I don't run many errands in my truck. Stop & Go traffic and short trips cause the MPG average to drop.

Until you get to my neck of the woods. Hill country in central Texas is pretty darn hilly. But to your point, the rest of the state is not. LOL...

That makes sense. If I can maintain 70 or under I'll get in the 20s. :turtleride: Driving across Kansas two-lane roads last week I almost hit 22 mpg! But closer to 80 I'm lucky to get 18.5 mpg. :burnrubber: A tailwind helps tremendously. LOL. BTW, this is with a 2 - 2.5" lift, 33s, a manual trans and speedo correction. And yes, I do manually calculate my mpg after filling every now and again to verify what my Taco is telling me on my dash is fairly accurate. :pccoffee:

I got about 17.5 miles on my 666 mile trip back from picking up mine on Friday. Was fairly flat from St Louis to Fort Worth with a few hills. Was doing about 85 tho the whole way since I was trying to make it back in one day.

Down in the Magic Valley (Harlingen - Brownsville) the only hills are the highway overpasses!

getting 380-390 to the tank. Of course, I'm waiting until I have more of it paid off before I mod the heck out of it, and it's my DD, so I need OK fuel economy, so there's that LOL. Northern MN hill country, rolling hills on my commute.

I'm getting about 350 miles to the tank. I'm in West Central Georgia. Not flat but no major hills either. I think I'm going to feel a little better about my MPG. I say "think" because I'm still used to the MPG from my Rav4 I used to have. Also, I have the XP package so the tires are 265's/70/16. I'm not sure how much that would affect the MPG though.

I have a 9 mile trip from the house to work. I can get between 18-19 MPG going to work and 16-17 MPG going home due to the hills.

@Borracho Loco , et.al., What tire configuration are ya'll running

    -and-

Is anybody doing the straight math: miles/gallons=mpg?

This is so far fetched from my situation that it has me bugged and I'm just looking for those nuances that makes a significant difference. Ya know...Science.

This is my SR Access Cab 2WD 2.7L with the factory 265/70/16s. I drive more conservatively than 98% of people.

This is on a mix of mostly gentle hills and some flat terrain, a mix of mostly highway (55-65 mph) and some city.
