holy crap, if it's not one thing it's the other. i've been getting all sorts of CEL codes lately... i should be able to fix them all myself this weekend, but damn it's annoying. and now my drive side door handle pretty much stopped working so about 75% of the time i try to open my door from the outside i can't and have to reach in and open it from the inside by going through the pass side door...lol...FML

Here is how the engine cage is coming. There will be some more bracing added to the plate and two tubes. It will use sandwich plates to be removable instead of tube clamps.

The light bar is done and mounted as well but no pics.

I got pissed off at a hand held packman when I was in the 5th grade. I threw it on the ground, it bounced up and cracked the screen on my parents brand new big screen TV.

Thanks man. Im not too fond of the massive dimple dies but it would have been a heavy SOB without them or some plasma work.

The engine cage base tubes tie into the frame behind the coil buckets and the coil bucket themselves. We were going to add a tube to the front of the UCA (front of truck) gusset already there and then down to the frame but realized that the TC 1/4" gusset was stronger than my frame anyway so it wouldnt be necessary.

06Haole- nice engine cage so far. Is it going to be tying into anything at the moment?

Nothing, had to do chores and still have that Tv with the crack in it. You can't see the crack when the TV is on. I guess I should by them a Flatscreen for them a few years down the road.

My diver side handle is broken on my truck lol I'm going to try to epoxy it so it will work until a new one comes in. Luckily I have small skinny fingers the can get under the backside of it to open the door. VERY annoying.

Texas Matt - The engine cage looks nice and seems to be coming along well nice job.

It seems like its common for the door handles to go out on 1st gens. My driver side already sucks and my buddy has had long travel for a few years and his passenger side feels like your gonna lift the truck up before the door opens. Anyone know what the cause is or if its common on other trucks too?

I'll be out there but I'm not taking my truck with me (as of now) since the course is so short we won't need 3 chase trucks. I'll be car pooling with a buddy in his 2nd gen.'

Edit I'll make a thread about BAP so we can see who all is going. I know JD and Oliver were going also

If they had an "stock Eco-Boost" in that Ford in Baja I would be impressed. If that was actually a 100% stock motor I would take my comment back and be humbled.

I'm pretty sure it was. Isn't that truck race in the stock class?
