Yeah that’s kinda the same as how I felt, I have the tools and probably the skill…but would probably take me months to get finished….so I just took it to a buddy who pretty much only builds cages and we busted it out in less than 2 weeks.

Had a good shakedown run at AOP. Definitely need to step up to 37’s- priority one. Immediately apparent to the more experienced wheelers and later to me- while the ass end looks cool moving like a moon buggy it’s not making the front do shit. Still debating how to solve that, but will start with seeing what I can get out of the dual rate adjustment. Hell of a time with some great guys.

Non-Ultra4 IFS travel isn't going to keep up with a rear link for rock crawling / difficult trail riding - think of the rear of your truck being replicated on the front of your truck

Not following how the rear setup is correlated to the front? Care to elaborate? What’s the spring rate up front?

He’s implying a solid axle swap is your answer.

I think it’s a weight distribution problem. Ass end is super light. I’d have the same issues with a live axle.

Rear is super light, it’ll flex out before the front will instead of there being a balance. Rear needs to shift some work through dampening or spring rate to the front. This pic kinda shows it best. Front should be stuffed

Spring rate and dampening isn't going to make your rear not droop. You could have leafs in the rear and you'd be holding your rear driver's corner in the air with the front doing the same thing.

    600 16”. Thinking 550 18” will be coming. 125 16” and 150 18” in the rear.

more dampening should push some load up front when it does. Leafs or links.

Just go to the extreme of 500x18 like me. We have similarly weighted front ends and mine articulates pretty smoothly

You're speaking about valving which is dampening - that only works at high speeds - it's going to equalize when rock crawling and shaft speeds are slow. Oil won't hold up your truck at all once there's enough time for it to flow up or down.

    damp·ing
/ˈdampiNG/: a decrease in the amplitude of an oscillation as a result of energy being drained from the system to overcome frictional or other resistive forces.

Has nothing to do with load forces between the vehicle
