Somewhere in the big bend-ish region?

Looks similar to our dinner view yesterday!

Good morning everyone. Yesterday went very well. I was able to increase my mph by 10 and trapped 161mph two times. I am pretty happy with that on a street car.

Morning SA, moving a little slow around here. I stayed up a little late wiring my switch hub solid state relay setup… there may have been a few Shiners involved as well lol. Gotta go clean up the shop if I can talk myself into going out there.

    Morning Kevin
    Morning Lin.....err Speedy! Dang!
Morning Mark - you have neighbors???!!
    Morning Ozzy
Morning Kent - what I'll be doing today, but homemade

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Slower than expected Darth Previous (black Prius) repair. We were replacing this (and I could only hope the replacement was what this used to be!)

    20220321_155621.jpg

Seems some mounting tabs we were going to need weren't there anymore. Supposed to be 5, we had 1 1/2 left.

    20220402_120806.jpg

Not to be deterred. Dad has aluminum stock, a saw, and drills. We make some tabs. Find a place to bolt them in.

    20220402_131049.jpg

And, we can install the replacement valance panel!

    20220402_132608.jpg

Spent the rest of the afternoon watching the dogs play with our neighbor, then got cleaned up for a nice little Mr. Taco dinner out. So, truck work today.

Man....I don't know. I think aesthetics. I already have a set of fully forged wheels on order. Probably fix the paint on the rear qtr panel and replace the windscreen. I want to rebuild the transmission, but that will most likely be on the back burner because it will cost close to $10k - $13k

    :jellydance:
:jellydance: Heater on, or no? Ours self heated to 74* today.

A slow slog, cleaning out the wire nest. That's OK I guess, I am saving gas parked. AC guy randomly rewired a bunch of small wires, and my add on ultimate harness was even more in the way. I cleaned up a lot. More to go.

I’ve noticed my back burner transmission rebuild has been slowly inching it’s way towards the front burner. We’ll see how long it lasts!
