Have you found a good source to buy them? I wanna do the retro sticker kinda although I think the red looks funny on lunar rock but the orange red and yellow I think would fit it well.

Specifically looking for an SR with the SX add on. Should be a super solid work truck. Anyone get one of these yet?

From your name I’m guessing you are in Taos? I was going to say I think I saw an SR with the SX package on the list for trucks coming in at the dealership I have my truck ordered in. But Knoxville, TN might be a stretch from New Mexico.

Great looking truck. Glad you finally got it- looks like you are parked at STL Lambert in the photos. Dealer called me and said it will be here 4/4- 4/9- believe it when I have the keys in hand.

Just FYI, Once the truck is built, you are probably looking and 60-90 days for delivery. how long before its built is anyones guess. likely looking at 4 to 6 months or so.

From what I have seen on here they go to Newark via train and then to the individual dealerships via truck. I am in Bucks County, PA and appears to be the same routing.

I live in NJ but I am buying from a dealer in PA not too far south of you, and come to think of it all of my vehicle purchases from dealerships have been in PA because NJ dealers generally are over priced and never have what I want.

That's what I'm expecting, if not longer. I'm not sure how frequently Toyota even pushes out manual Tacomas

That's my understanding...just have to wait for it. The price I got for mine was less than the four other certified pre-owned tacomas they had on the lot by several thousand and a couple of those used ones had ~50k miles

First time going through the new process as well

Roughly between 2-5% are produced with a 6 speed manual

Really? I swear I read some official numbers a few months back which indicated slightly over 10%; I don't know, maybe that was 10% of the V6 models which might well equate to less than half that for all Tacomas.

My dealers told me that most of the time the trucks from Baja Calf. Mexico go to a port in San Diego. Then on a train across the U.S. They then are off loaded in the Port of Newark across from Newark/Liberty Airport (literally next to the NJ Turnpike) and then shipped buy car transport to the respective dealers.
Not sure if they same would apply for a vehicle going to PA. One would think the train would stop or go towards a port on the Delaware but I'm no logistics expert. LOL.

    Slightly off topic:
My 1974 VW Super Beetle came into the U.S. via the Port of New Orleans in Dec of 1973. It was sent by rail to Port Newark, trucked to a dealer and sold in PA in January of 1974. Strange because, VW also uses Port Newark now to this day. At
that time "The Beetle" was still made in Germany. One would think it would have went straight to Port NewarkI got some of this info from the VW museum in Germany. The rest I put together by talking to the original owners son.

Sooo...new here and was wondering if someone could help me out. Seems like I'm in the same boat as alot of you guys...waiting. Put a deposit down on an allocation and was told 4 to 6 months. Dealer called me that week and said they had someone who was backing out of an allocation that had a delivery date of 5/12. I don't think I let him get the full sentence out before yelling into the phone "I'll Take It!!". Lol. Well, sales guy called me last week and said now the delivery has been pushed to 5/24. I see on the dealers website (and the order sheet that was sent over to me) that there is a VIN number (not sure if it's the temp one...but assuming it is). Can someone point me in the right direction to look it up or can someone look it up and let me know any specifics on it. Here it is: 3TMCZ5ANXNM13C203.

Appreciate any help/insight. Can't wait on getting the truck.

VIN doesn't come up with anything on the webpage, but there's a letter in the last 6 digits which means it was a temporary VIN number. Might have to wait and get the permanent VIN.

Ok. Thanks for the help and info. Got my fingers crossed that there aren't going to be any more delays.
