im actually looking for more protection to wear when mtb now that i been getting faster and the trails i hit are getting sketchier.

please tell me the front bumper is use able. IE not damaged?

 

Yeah I’ve never been the go fast type, but it seems like some good rigid gear makes a lot of sense. It doesn’t take much to get seriously torn up. Compare what the average mtbr wears compare to a dirt biker. Ya the dirt biker goes faster, but many of the threats are similar

 

Its got a chew mark in one corner from the puppy and some paint scratches that’s about it

 

the plastic isnt an issue.. my fathers 02 will be repainted and he wants to get rid of the chrome. so it'll be painted white.

 

The D3O stuff is soft and flexable but has crazy good protection ability. I wear D3O knee pads and dont even notice them.

because the best protection is that one that you will actually wear

 

Then yeah the metal is fine. Was gunna give it to @Area51Runner for that exact reason but he changed his mind

 

I need to get those running boards from him..

Have you found any leaf spring anti squeak pads you like? It’s the last thing I need for my bastardized spring project and it seems like all I can find are dorman or some sketchy abs ones from Amazon

 

OME sells theirs new, I dunno what the hole size is for them
