Saw a Corolla hatch yesterday from a year or two ago, spiffy looking car. Would love that with a 6 spd and some firepower

That's a bit expensive I'm sure, but I'd do another aftermarket turbo under the hood, I've read the gains are impressive.

The GR Corolla looks interesting. I enjoyed my '05 Corolla XRS, 170hp 1.8L with 6MT, fun little car. Still going strong, I gave it to my father-in-law when I bought my Tacoma. Thing has 260,000kms on it and only did a clutch at 90,000 ( lease return, who knows what the previous owner did to that clutch!) And brakes.

Builds like that don't get me excited for some reason.

I respect the talent that it takes, but none would live in my garage.

Not an issue for the Metzger! Wish I bought a 996 turbo before they went bananas.

Opinions requested...I'm thinking about getting a "weighted" shift knob. Mainly because I like some of the styles offered more then "standard" weight. My only concern is excessive selector fork wear...No big deal??? or what do you guys think?
